Day4

Been in a business seminar in Itasca all day with Ben. Outstanding speaker (Thomas Plummer)! Actually swears (a lot) but still pretty professional. Plummer is a specialist in the business of fitness. He has a good impact in popular respected gyms, Todd Durkin's Fit Quest 10, Mike Boyle's S&C, Cosgrove's Results Fitness. It's scary that he is training and teaching globo/big box gyms to become more like functional training facilities ie CrossFits. I'm not sure if it's possible but it is interesting as he does well in forecasting the future of the industry. Who knows what lies in the future.

9am
Black coffee from DD
1230pm
Whole foods lunch
Tuna and salmon sashimi
salad with raw kale, spinach, beets, broccoli, EVOO, balsamic vinegar and lemon

  1. Holy moly... you're my mental-toughness hero. I've become such an addict that the mere mention of junk foods makes me cranky... which has been a source for much entertainment for Matt.

Anyhoo, I really like the "eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full" concept, but can this be useful for someone who might be on a bigger "learning curve" with only a month?

  2. I took a slow walk thru Jewel today. The alcohol section and the cookie isle was a very slow walk.

I have no idea on the learning curve. I've eaten this way for 8-10 years. Pretty much since I started training and didn't want to wake up any earlier than I needed to.
